  6. Hi Blaughn and Charlie E So glad to hear what you had to say on hard wood and my machine is my place of peace (love it). As for working on soft and hard both not easy as soft is like cutting butter with a hot knife. It is just that crazy for me, both a have the hard bits but it is like a drug of choice for me (if I was on drugs) have to hard a time to handle life sober to get on drugs.   7. Thanks all. Hi Marg you will be horrified at the blades I used first in scrollng. They were pinless blades was hard and could not have been able to do what I do now. A person on a show of tools helped my hubby to change machine to hold pinless blades thank goodness for helpful people.

  9. Hi All this is two projects one is one of my first one that I can say I was really starting to get into the hobby. The other one is peace on harder and thicker wood I was lucky to get. Did it over the holiday was worried my machine would not take it as it was my first peace of hard wood. It was a champ was worried for nothing. The first one I used old X ray film and carben paper to put it on wood and drew the pattern on paper by hand. Then came the computer in our lives with the internet and all ye ha then the fun really began. Barbara

  14. Hi from Barbara As growing up I was always in trouble for been to slow. Now I have a hobby were the slower I go the easer the work is. My first job with hard rose white teak wood is putting my skills to task enjoying it so much. Just so different a experience to ply wood but just fun as well. My motor I am worried it will blow so I am taking it slow but loving every moment. Thanks to all who helped with tips and reminders as ply is different skill level.

  23. Hi All. Better late than never. Been wanting to get this done for a long time. Love the patterns with two images eg leaf and bird. I used other materials on the outside and it helped to stop the wood splitting Barbara
  24. I really must do it as we are such a dry country and it is not only beautiful but says so much here. My birds will know they are welcome to drink the water. Barbara
