  1. Gasoline and stain huh?? ima have to try that.
  2. This pattern is a Modified version of the one published by Steve Ramsay. It's a bit smaller and uses a differnent thickness for the two frames to cut down on use of materials. I can make 1 swing out of a good 48 inch pallet board. Just using a table saw to rip the wood to thickness and a miter saw for all the cuts. I'm in the middle of building a jig to make it easier to assemble. I'd like to get total time down from 1.5 hours to 45 minutes with jigs and standardized parts. It's all held together with Brad Nails. Although i will start using glue in addition to brad's with the ones I make from here on out. I may also paint some of them with team colors as that kind of item sells very well in my area.
  3. Alabama Puzzle with recessed holder Pallet wood Potting Bench Porch Swing Bird feeder I made 3 of these Garden Shelf to match the table Shelves to go inside cabinet doors that hold zip top bags Phew I'm tired... the Swings and the garden shelf/bench are for sale at my families 2 antique stores. The Puzzle is going to the store today.
  4. I created a quick PDF template for those of you that asked. see attached Wine tree.pdf
  5. I was trying to make something different... I only had 3 wine bottles. Don't mind the tequila. it worked better with 4 wine glasses on the bottom.
  6. That's Beautiful. Great Job!
  7. Loctite, and let it dry for a minute or so before placing it. Super #77 is my favorite that i've tried though.
  8. I made a Sign to go along with my new YouTube channel. Warped Pine Productions... It's hanging in the hallway, because my workshop is in a spare bedroom, I put plywood down to protect the carpet and walls. I made the sign from a piece of Warped pine. lol! Pattern Courtesy of Steve Good - http://www.stevedgood.com/signtemplate.pdf Font is Called Hot Mustard - http://www.azfonts.net/load_font/hot_mustard_btn.html

  10. Yup, The bottom right as well was replaced. Doesnt have the same blueish tint.
  11. I Garbage picked half an old wooden windows frame from my neigbors burn pile (everyone around here has a burn pile) don't you? lol it was missing 3 of the panes., My honey baby saw it and wanted it to be a picture frame, so it came to pass. I bought some Acrylic from the home center and used a number 3 FD Ultra reverse blade on a low speed to cut the panes to find the windows from the back. they are a friction fit. I also tried a new stain called Driftwood from rustoluem, Its kind of a dull grey.. I Like it. It's a nice dull grey finish that had the antique look I wanted. Not sure why the picture came out so grainy. I blame the iPad Camera. see if you can tell which panes got replaced.
  12. Wow, That's amazing. truly Inspiring!
  13. The fire is shorter so you would want to re size the slot appropriately . But it would work.
  14. i Made a stand for my iPad, I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices for chinese plastic junk in stores. So I took matters into my own hands and made up a stand from scratch. i will attach the pattern for those who are curious. pattern has measurements. iBroke iPad Stand.pdf

  16. A good friend of mine's wife is having a birthday on the 20th and he wanted to get her something special. he wanted to get her a box, but didn't know what he wanted to do with it. He bought a plain Pine box from Hobby lobby. and brought it to me, I told him I would stain it but I didn't tell him anything else I did stain it.... and........ well............. . Yeah, I might of gotten carried away I made a Key from a Dowel and some underlayment. False Bottom Lined the whole thing with Felt Didn't charge him a dime, not even materials. He and his wife work very hard to support their 1 year old and I though She deserved something nice and special on her birthday. + I got to try out a couple things I've been wanting to use, Like Dowels and Sticky Back felt. Oh and I used Hot Glue for the first time since Grade School. I'm Pretty Happy with it. Trouble is..... Now my Wife wants one...... yeeessh How am I going to top this.
  17. no big Deal, I was just wondering Who Dennis was.
  18. My name is Stephen. not Dennis lol.. And yes, this is the stuff used to level out floors. It's cheap and plentiful. and it was the thinnest stuff I could afford at the moment. and i kind of like the tight printed on grain. This stuff has a Birch Plywood Center.
  19. In this political climate, People would fall all over themselves to get a copy of this if it were a pattern. Nicely done Sir!
