  1. I swear i was born 15 years too late... anyway. Favorite movie ever is the original Blues Brothers. I've attached the pattern. used #1 for the ears, #9 for everything else. have to mount it to a backer board to give it some structure, but this is going to look nice in my cubicle. I've attached the pattern for anyone who wants to try it. My Advise, Start with the Faces

  4. Understood, It's not super common here either as far as I know, Mostly just whole head mounting.. i'm not a hunter, so idk, But this job will pay for the saw.. Can't complain. and because of social media, i've got two more jobs lined up already.
  5. These are just the blank plates that the rack (antlers) are mounted to. two holes are drilled in the baseplate (top of the skull) and the rack is mounted to the backing plate with wood screws. then the top of the skull is covered in Leather, or vinyl. etc... then it is hung on the wall. Another person is doing the mounting i was just asked to make the mounts because he wanted something different. two are for my friend, 1 for his girlfriend, 1 for his other buddy.
  6. Wow, your good. I was using a spiral blade.... That was a bad idea..... I used ultra reverse for everything else.. I was just trying out the spiral blades. i think i'll save them for puzzles or rougher things.
  7. This is what prompted me to finally buy a saw, A friend asked me to make 4 plaques to mount deer antlers 2 these are the 4 after they were cut and Burnt. waiting on acrylic to dry now. They look alot nicer after acrylic, see the one on the right.
  8. I think it was a 9 I cant remember. The piece is about 10 inches in diameter. so not as hard as it looks
  9. No Pyrography set here, Just a LP gas torch and wet rag to keep the thinner edges from burning. lol although i would like to try a pyrography pen someday.
  10. I guess this would be considered a portrait. I'm not sure. Anyhow, this is the first time I've ever done anything like this, I think it came out ok. It's the logo for savage arms. Porter cable saw #9 FD reverse tooth blades.
  11. Not sanded, Just Burnt very very carefully, I use Glass and other Non Flammable things to mask, Kind of like Spray painting but with fire. The moon in the last picture was a shot glass lol.
