  1. They are nice, really like the canoe scene.
  2. She will love that one. That is a pretty pink especially for that cross. Any lighter pink and it would not stand out as well. Great job.
  3. That is so nice. I love the picture and you did a great job on the pattern and scrolling. I love the scenes you come up with.
  4. Your Bill would be a Grand or maybe Great Grand something to Sgt Becker. Sgt. Becker served in Korea was in the "Battle of Chosin Reservoir" Lost most his toes to frost bite.
  5. Nice bowl. I made one years ago. it was fun to build.
  6. Nice work Kevin as usual. How do you like working with the Teak? It is beautiful wood. Most often on a boat it is rubbed with Teak oil, for a finish. Looks real nice.
  7. Talented scroll work. Great looking.
  8. Holy cow, my top drill instructor, when I want through boot camp was a Sargent Becker! He was a salty old jarhead. I wonder it this Becker is a relative. Maybe a Grandson..
  9. An inspiration, Dick. Got to get started on mine, but I having trouble getting away from the clock to work on something else.
  10. John, that is truly a milestone to be proud of. Good for you.
  11. Dave, you know how I feel about your work. You never disappoint. Really is nicely cut, put together and finished.
  12. Well done.
  13. Very nice. Makes me think I am not crazy for saving all the little piece of scrap wood. I just can't toss it. I like ideas like this, I even have a bag full of little candles.
  14. Some real nice work.
  15. Okay we are hijacking the forum which was my fault, sorry. I was making a simple observation. If you want to discuss it further, a new thread needs to be started.
  16. congrats, that was a good buy on your part,
  17. It that is as little used as it looks, that is a great buy. If you look at saws often, as I do, It would appear, at least to me, that DeWalts have the best re-sale value of any scroll saw. I see them for sale a lot and it is usually from $300 to $400 area. New you can get them pretty consistently if you look around, for <$500. That is a 60% re-sale. Take the higher end saws, I see Hegners often for <$600. that is around a 30% re-sale and same for Hawk saws. The best used Hegner I have seen recently for sale is asking $680, and I would buy, and travel the 300 miles to pick it up, it if I had the extra cash. New it sales for $1695 that is a 40% re-sale... This is the west coast, may be different back east.
  18. Now that's pretty. The finger holds are a great tough.
  19. Very nicely done Kevin. Beautiful crosses. The dragon is popular on this forum. I see one for my Grandson to watch over him at night.
  20. I've seen them on Craigslist in my area, have you checked your area?
  21. That is right pretty!
  22. WOW! That is really nicely done. She has to be happy with that.
  23. Like'n your dragons. That is great.
