  4. I want to thank Shadylady0447 for posting the pattern and allowing me to attempt to cut it. The wood is 1/4" Baltic birch and used FD reverse spiral #1 and 2/0 blades to cut it out. Hope I didn't hack it up to bad.
  5. I want to thank Eagledrum70 for posting this pattern and allowing me to cut it. Just hope I have done some justice on cutting it. It was a fun pat to cut really enjoyed doing it. I used FD reverse spiral #1 to cut it with, the wood is 1/4" Home Depot hardwood ply.

  14. Thanks for all of the advice, so a pretty common thing with the 788. Thought it might be trying to tear up on me only 2 weeks old.
  15. When you release the blade and go to raise the arm up it has catch and won't go up. Mine has never gone up by its self, have always raised it and use a block of wood to hold it up.
  16. Having problem raising top arm at times. Does anyone have a clue what maybe causing it to do that?

  19. Cool looking eagles, nice smooth cuts. Wolf it is not that hard to use spirals. Just forget about having to turn you piece all the time and just follow your cut line. Its like using a sewing machine. John

  25. This my first portrait that have done all of the work from start to finnish. I started scrolling just this past Jan. and loving it. Started with a old Rigid 16" that is what I used on the portrait. Using FD R spiral 2/0 and 1 blades. Now I have a new DeWalt 788 and really enjoy it.
