I want to cut out a large name about 8 inches tall and joined in a fancy font for my friends baby. how would I do this?

I Have been cutting out names using the pattern printer on scrollsawworkshop, just wondering if anyone knows where i can get fancy joined up fonts to use so it doesnt have to have straight bottom,

What do people use first, i want to paint white onto wood. I use gloss acrylic paints but the white looks patchy, How can I get a good finish?

Which is the scroll saw that you would recommend?

My scroll saw takes pin headed blades, so to get the saw blade through my project I have to use the 5 drill bit, is the another way or another type of blade i can use because sometimes using the number 5 drill bit is bigger than the part i need to cut. Hope that makes sense

At moment I am using a scroll saw made by Ferm, I bought it just to do a little project for my wedding but have since found Steve Goods website so have been getting into things more. I have made some of the christmas ornaments and name keyrings and feel I am getting better each time, When it comes to painting/varnishing, is spray varnish a good thing to use or is it best to paint it with varnish?? Also which paint is best??? I am currently using gloss acrylic, is it worth spraying with a primer??

Is there any you would recommend? there seems to loads of choice
