    I keep my speed around 6 on this saw. Seems to be a perfect speed for me.

    This is the first detailed project I have made on my Bauer 22", after I did all those practise 3d ornaments for co-workers. Much more detailed than I could have done with my old Craftsman 16" Frankensaw. Very happy with the Bauer. This one is about 20" x 20".

    This was ripped from the outer bark side of a log the neighbors had on their burn pile. Stripped the bark off and cut the scene into it.

    I made the arm. I still need to add a spring to it to keep it from moving a little bit but it works great.

    I 3d printed it. Found a pre-made design that is supposed to be for drilling drywall and catching the dust.

    Currently working on the only horse I can afford. Real ones are much more expensive.

    I used another scroll saw to cut the round knob into a wing nut shape on my Craftsman 16". I also replaced the main tension knob on the back with a flip down lever from a very old 16" Delta, since it didnt have a tensioner near the head. My poor Craftsman has been rebuilt and adapted many times over the past 21 years, but I just got the 22" Bauer just over a month ago myself. Keeping the Craftsman Franken-Saw though. It has kept me scrolling for many years (originally from a pawnshop for $15.00.)

    I have a 22" Bauer. Added a Arm release, but more importantly to me I added a dust collection system under the table. Connected it to a shop vacuum out the back. It doesn't get in the way of me top feeding the blade and working the lower clamp and doesn't catch everything but does catch most. It might get in the tilting the arm but I rarely do that. It is siliconed in place.

    Very tedious cutting it, but honestly it was easy compared to making the pattern. Paintings dont have natural shadows to use as a guide. I had to make up a few.

    I made this a couple of years ago from a painting located in The Philbrook Museum of Art. It is the iconic painting for the museum. I have always loved the painting. The Philbrook instragram page reppsted the picture and said "An amazing rendering of The Shepherdess." It is 31" tall. Made on a 16" Craftsman scroll saw.
