At the moment i have to wait at home, for the delivery for a compressor and attachments.
 
Saidly they send my a half packet :-(
 
So i am hoping they are coming back with the other one.
 
If not, than i have to wait ...  unthill Monday.
 
Lucky for me, that i have to go back to work on th 19th of januari.

hello everyone,
 
I am a 36 year old man from Belgium, and new to the scroll saw.
 
I wil probely buy a Proxonn DSH scroll saw.
 
The store is close to my hometown, as I do not thrust the internetsites with the given feedback regarding quality.
 
I would like to find some 3D animal patern, as i think they are cool to make.
 
Maybe somebody can help me with finding those paterns.
 
I can not drawn them, as i would fail trying :-)
 
 
 
 

Gregory,
    You might want to download,  GIMP or/and inkscape. They are both free software and there are quite a few tutorial videos here in The Village forum to help you to learn and understand these programs. You will find the free videos in the university tab as you scroll  down the forum tabs. Many here use these programs for making patterns and it is easy to make the patterns the exact size you want them to be. Give it a try, any questions can be answered in regards to these programs.

On my 'bucket list' has always been a desire to see the Formula 1 race at Spa-Francorchamps... in my mind I can see them going through Eau Rouge and up the Kemmel Straight.

Look at Homer and Carol Bishops posts here. They make 3 D intarsia pieces. they sell their patterns but Homer posted one of them to download free here on The Village. He entitled it something like " here is a challenge for anyone" of something similar to that. Go look it up.

Welcome to the site!! I love this site and the wide geographical footstep it covers      
I have looked into 3-D Animal patterns a bit for my whirligig patterns and have ended up making my own from downloaded animal pics, then resizing them to get matching sizes to the the two 2-D sides. However, with that said, I usually end up drawing in the loose edges. I really think the one's artistic talents grow as he/she continues to develop and create new ideas and plans. In addition, you might check wood carving sites for 3-D animal patterns/templates. Good luck and welcome aboard...

welcome Gregory,This scroll saw will last you a while, Glad  you found something to get you going with your new found love.Hum my thinking fails me for a 3d animal but you might google it  as "3danimal/scrollsawpattern" .  something may come up either free or  low cost.Yes there are many things that are cool to make on the scroll saw.Stop on back a be a friend and a regular,we cut up and wood too lol.Lots of free info everyday so don't miss out  Welcome friend!
