Customer wanted something with Nascar..this is what I come up with.

I live in Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.Put this together yesterday.the eagle is from a 2003 book.pattern by Dirk Boelmon.

Don R made a pattern for me awhile back.Had two excellent patterns, other one was by Br4. customer opted for Dons as it was a close up.here are the picture, pattern, and cut.

nice cuts...they should be a hit.

I use gorilla glue to attach the over lay..I find when I spread it thin,there is not much squeeze out.and when it does it is very easy to remove with sharp knife. Also I find sometimes it acts as good as a filler...my thoughts

I had similar yesterday. Made up address sign and at the end, found out wood had a stress crack. Then more time trying to glue it, then tossed it in pile.Takes the fun out of it. -
