Kevin, you are amazing. You do a hell of a job on painting. I don't see any drips or runs in the paint. Is that glitter paint or do you add the glider after you paint it. They all look great.
Your right Brian. I have marks on my saw for where I have to set it. Also you have to use the same blade that your actually going to use on the final cutout. Jim suggested a #5 polar. and make sure it's a new blade.
Brian, easier said than done. This is only my second piece so I had to get as close a fit as I could. It did stick out a little which I sanded flush. I guess it all depends on the inlay your working on. I’m still learning.
Well I decided to try and make a cheese/bread board with a piece of cheese and a mouse in it. It's made out of oak and walnut and measures 15 1/2 x 9.This one was a little tricky to do. I just couldn't get the angle right. I sent Jim a message and he gave me some tips on how to go about it. I was finally able to get it pretty close. The mouse was the hardest to do. I still have to give it a couple more coats of mineral oil and bees wax and buff it out. I'm also going to put some rubber bumpers on the bottom. It looks better in person. The light wasn't to good in my house. Any suggestions are always welcome.
