    Thanks for the kind welcome all. And just to clarify, its D L G, not dig, no worries though. She is 10. She actually has a workbench for her height that I put the scroll saw on for her. Thank you very much. We will print this out.

    One place I didn't see mentioned is local cabinet shops. Some might let you take some scraps they throw out. It never hurts to ask.

    Hey yall, I am new to the forum. I live in Northeast Arkansas and am brand new to scroll saw work. I bought it for my daughter to use because she loves to work in the shop with me and she is not quite ready for some of the bigger power tools yet.
