  4. Well done! Work looks awesome as well! Nice cutting! Funny I have many people ask me as well "what 3d printer do you use? Can you do one of my dog for tomorrow?" Lol. Um...no its by hand and this one took about 18 hours. Then they are amazed.

  13. Wow! Nice to wake up and read these all. Again, thank you u so very much! Now im fired up to get out there and go go go! lol. And yes Rob that is an Otter actually. its Otter Sunning On A Rock. Ãm I the only one that is terribly frustrated with spiral blades?? I use an older Delta saw (was given to me when a very dear friend passed away) I'm not at all familiar of all the different sizes TPI, scroll speeds etc. But thanks to this forum I'm DEFINITELY getting there! But the spirals? They seem to push me to a whole new level of frustration. I find I'd rather stand there and spin the work around. Which does slow things down a LOT. Is it just me? Regardless. I thank all of you very much for your encouragement! Tim
  14. Wow! Thank you so much everyone! To be told you're work is great from friends and family is great but being told that from peers within the same community is the ultimate! I'm thoroughly enjoying looking at everyone else's as well and am blown away by many! Thanks for being so welcoming! Looking very forward to learning a great deal...and passing that on one day as well.
  15. Stunning work!! Love the slab. Def my favourite...but I love them all! Nicely done!
  16. Absolutely stunning piece!!
  17. Wow great work! Beautiful! AND for a great cause. Well done!
  18. Thank you so much Denny! I'm very eager to get going on more complex intricate custvbut my saw isn't very friendly to that. So I'm creating my own iserts etc. And of course paying close elattention to a lot of tip posts here! I have learned SO much from this forum!!
  19. Well I guess its time to let the scroll community judge my work! I've seen many projects here that are simply wonderful! So I guess its my turn as a newbie to display mine. I've had my saw for a couple of years but never really took it terribly seriously until this year. My shop is VERY difficult to work in due to the fact that it is an old OLD house and therefore the wiring, lighting etc just isn't very easy to work with. But throughout time I've invented ways to make life a little easier and get to it! So here is some of my work. mostly completed in the last 2 weeks. Once I get started on one? I can't stop. I spend hours at the spot. Its become my Zen I'll post them in order from first completed project to last.
  20. Greetings from Ontario Canada. I am not new to scrolling but only recently became thoroughly obsessed with it as a hobby. So grateful to have found this forum! So many very interesting pieces here and patterns as well as a great amount of willing to help people! Amazed at the generosity of time and encouragement here! Looking forward to learning much and sharing as well! Tim
