  1. I think i just figured it out so I am going to try this. Use a stick and a half moon shape beside it to split the D
  2. I am trying to cut the name INDY in an ornament. The letters are thick. When i come to the D i know I need to make a bridge so the whole thing doesn't drop out in the middle. I need to leave the middle of the D attached to the wood and cut out the rest if that makes sense to you. I am doing something wrong because i can't do it right. I will also need to do it with an A but i know to cut the across part of it short and not go all the way. Any advice for the D? I am visual and cannot figure it out today. Thanks.
  3. Hi. I lost a lot of things on my ancient computer including my scroll calligraphy font i used to make name ornaments etc. i forget who the author of the font is but i am wondering if someone can please send it to me again so i can put it on my new laptop. I will also save a copy on a flash drive or something as a backup this time. Thank you if you can help. The font is called scroll calligraphy. .
  4. Hi Carol,   Do you know if the sled pattern by Travis Cook is available?

    Stoney aka Al

  5. I made these for a co-worker as a request from a pattern by Travis Cook in 2009. Years ago I made the “mistake” of changing a sled design by Sheila Landry and put my name on it and showed people. Ever since then people want ornaments every year with names on them and sometimes the year.
  6. Thank you for your kind comments. I’m never sure my work is on par with more experienced people.
  7. Great thanks. Here are a few things I’ve made
  8. I have been asked to make a motorcycle for a friend's birthday and it is a Honda Shadow 11 and the picture looks very similar to this one but this seems way to hard for me to cut. Is it possible for someone to make a pattern much simpler but with the details to show the three circles . I don't know anything about motorcycles and need something not too hard . I had a different pattern someone made for me but I wrecked it so I need even more basic obviously. I am even willing to pay for the pattern if I can cut it. This above pattern is gorgeous but above my talent I thing with the very small details thanks.
  9. Thanks for both the patterns. They are really nice. I think I might use both and make two things. Thanks everyone for the help.
  10. This is a picture of her sheep so something cutable like this would be great
  11. hi. I am looking for a pattern for a domestic sheep farm type theme for someone who asked me to make one for her father for Christmas. He has a sheep farm and meat shop but does not farm grain or have other animals. I can't seem to find anything anywhere. I don't need anything too complicated. I did buy the farmer plaque from Sue Mey and made that for my cousin this summer but this request does not need a tractor or grain etc. Can anyone help me please? It could be a scene or a plaque as long as it has domestic farm sheep. If you make the pattern I can cut it but I cannot make my own patterns except for portraits from photos. Thanking you in advance. for some reason I had to create a new account as well to get in here when I have been a member for many years.
