  1. Jerry, it might be better to save in a Windows format as not very many use Open Office, and I don't know why as it's free and every bit as good.

Welcome Colin. You'll find lots of talent expanding patterns here and a lot of them in plenty of time for Christmas. Everyone here is more than willing to help, all you have to do is ask. Enjoy your time in the Village.
  3. Welcome to the forum John. You will find lots of information, help and some humor here. I own the Dewalt and have never had a complaint with it. I moved the bottom arm out 3/16" and it made a significant difference. There is an article about this modification in this site. Hope you enjoy it here.
  4. Well done, and thanks for a great idea at this time of year.
  5. Most of my work is in 1/4" BB. To date I have been using 2/0 Regular Tooth and 1, 3, and 5 Reverse tooth. Any suggestions or criticism would be appreciated. Thanks to those who reply.
  6. Need some help on how to drill smaller than 1/16" as a lot of times it's just too large. Tried 1/32" using a pin vice in my drill press, but with no success. Was a bit for metal and the wood just clogged the flutes. Thanks in advance. John Thanks guys. Makes me feel stupid for not thinking that myself. Live and learn.
  7. Good morning, Started scrolling about 5 years ago with a Dremel saw that you had to chase around the bench. Novelty wore off quickly, and I put the saw under the bench and left it. Found a rebuilt DW788 and made the big buy. It's an absolute dream to use. Unfortunately I'm running out of ideas and people to give projects to. Be prepared for lots of questions once I read all the posts here. Looks like a very god site. John
