I have always used a clear shelf liner first, then I only print my patterns on full sheet adhesive back shipping labels and stick it onto the shelf linered wood. I have never had any issues removing the patterns even from the smallest most detailed fret work I ever cut. No spray adhesive and no blue tape.

Thank you JT. The bottom text I used my newly aquired laser on 1/2" hard maple it is just laser etched.
As for Danish oil, wouldn't drip and cause isicles on the bottom side as it is drying? that is my concern about any liquid finish. I don't need a top coat.
Thank you

Happy new year to the forum members
Please help
I made a couple of 3/4 walnut text pieces and would like to them in liquid finish to get into all the cuts and corners and dry quickly.
What can I use?

Thank you all for the comment and advice.
My saw is Excalibur 16 and I don't pay attention to the position of the blade. I will from now on
I will report the fuzz situation when I cut next.
Thank again
Hi all,
Whenever I scroll I mostly use 3/4" thick wood (Oak, Birch, Walnut). I am sold on the Pegas MGT blades but sometimes I get fuzz in the bottom depending on the wood.
Would SKIP blades reduce that issue?
Thank you in advance for any advice
Sam
OMG,
This is embarrassing. I had the saw switch on OFF every time I plugged into the foot switch.
Thank you for that question
I Appreciate your quick reply. You saved the day

Hello Fellow Members,
I have been totally away for nearly one year now. We just finished moving from SCal to San Antonio Texas .
I have been trying to do some scrolling and found out that my Excalibur 16 is not working with my FOOT SWITCH but it did before the move. The switch works fine if I plug a light in the back but not when I plug the saw. I thought there was problem with the switch so I just bought a new one but issue is the same.
Can someone help me please?
Thank you all
Sam
I figured the reason for residue is that while we are cutting the wood and pattern the glue ges hot and becomes more gluewy. If left for enough time that glue goes back to its original state and when peeled will not leave that residue.
My 2 cents.
Good luck

Very neat collection system. I am a little confused (may be a lot confused). In original post I see the stainless canister and blue cyclone. Is the stainless the vac? Would you please give the source and model of that?
Thanks
Sam
Hi all,
Please bear with me if I already asked this question. Memory started to slow down for me.
What finish is best for a hot plate made from 3/4 red oak?
I would appreciate your experience.
Thx
Sam
Hello forum,
This has been talked about and discussed many times but I can't find it:
I used BLO 50/50 and have been waiting for that piece to lose the smell of that 1 coat but it still smells
Can I spray oil base lacquer as final finish. This is for indoor use.
Tha is a lot
