  1. Way to go Denny. I will place an order today. I only use MGT pegas blades. Since I tried them I totally retired the other brands. Obviously I don't do as much scroll sawing as others because I haven't ordered from Denny yet (until today) Thank you all Stay safe Sam
  2. Yes, my can says exactly that. I thought I I replied to your comment last night but I guess I did not hit the send button. Thx a lot
  3. This is the Shellac I used and I can't tell whether it is dewaxed or not. Thank you
  4. Thank you for the quick response Sam
  5. Sorry all, I meant to say Shellac. Can lacquer be used on top of shellac?
  6. Hello group, I know this has been discussed many times but every user has different variations of the subject . Can I use lacquer over varnish? Appreciate the help Sam
  7. I ordered the Pegas Clamps from Denny and wow : Outstanding service, Fast shipping, Great price/shipping, Installation on my EX-16 was a breeze. Ran some test pieces and I love these clamps. Denny also carries my favorite Pegas Blades for the right price/shipping. We love supporting our fellow scollsawyers Thank you Denny Sam
  8. Can someone please post a link to this Sayco system? Thx
  9. Ray, I will call you today on my way home from work. Don't sweat it Sam
  10. Thank you all for replying. I will use watco Danish oil (I had bought a quart) and see how it comes out. I just bought some mineral spirits online (I'm in California) to make my 50/50 mixture I will report how that comes out Thanks again Sam
  11. I am glad you are doing better. Thank you for warning the group. God bless. Sam
  12. Hello Group, Sorry, I haven't been active at all but like always, I am blaming it on the job. I have a few more years to retire (3 years and 2 months an a few days). I want to make a few Hot Plate Trivets for family but not sure what to finish them with. I already started one with 3/4 Birch. I also plan on making a couple out of 3/4 Red Oak. I haven't had any luck finishing with Danish Oil. I used it a couple of time on fret work and it made a mess due to the nooks and tight holes where I couldn't get to the inside corners before the stuff got hard. I also had finished a couple of these hot plate trivets with just Mineral oil and it took for ever to look like it was dry but it never really dries. How would you finish these? Of course we don't want to stain but what final finish do you use? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you all Sam
  13. If you have the 3d file, I can take a shot at it by slicing as much as would be practical but we still need to design ways to put it together. Let me know
  14. How about a short haired paint roller. Just get the roller evenly rolled over a glue puddle and lightly roll the glue on as thick as you like. I am not as seasoned or expert at scrollsawing but that works for me. Good luck Sam
  15. IMHO, the smaller clock looks better but you should reduce the size of the circle mounting it. Great work Sam
  16. You bet you are getting famous Iam happy for you keep it up sam
  17. Bob, nice job you did with what resources you have. Next time you or any member of this forum needs help with any geometrical pattern call on me and I will do my best to help. I have CAD programs and the know how to design simple and complex shapes. This community has been a great wealth of information to all of us. I have not been participating much due to my full time job. Sam
  18. Merry Christmas to the whole SSV awsome family. God bless you and your family.
  19. I know there was a lot discussed about getting rid of the dust at the source. At my job the cleaning lady uses a Hoover HCC-08 (Please Google it cause I couldn't paste a link to it). The big deal IMHO is the low noise and the price. It is industrial so I would think it can run as long as you are cutting. I'm thinking of getting one. Any comments? Does anyone has this? Thx Sam
  20. I bought this WEN last Xmas and I think it is cheaply made. I used it a couple of times only. I am not a heavy user. I would not buy it again. My 2 cents. Good luck Sam
  21. Great work as usual. What kind of wood are these and how thick? Sam

Very Nice. Lots of pattern for beginners and seasoned scrollsawers. I will come back and look when I have more time. Thank you
  23. Grizzly WILL NOT ship to Cali. I bought one last year and before they shipped they cancelled the because to it is going stupid Calif. I ended up buying this WEN from Amazon. I like it. I haven't had any issues in one year. I have a VERY small working area and it keeps the fine dust to a min. Of course I don't cut anywhere near all of. I recommend this WEN. Good luck Sam
  24. Just beautiful my friend Sam
