  1. Thanks guys. I'll google "torx" wrench and then pick up a metric Allen wrench set from Lowe's. DW, I'm in Bexley, part of Columbus.
  2. I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure someone in the forum has a DW 788 who has the wrench. Would someone confirm that it's a metric Allen wrench? Thanks NC Scroller, I appreciate the feedback.
  3. I found a place that sells the knob assembly and the set screws. For some reason I can't find the right size hex tool to fit the set screws. If you have any idea I'd appreciate the information.
  4. I bought a pack of blades for $3.00. I read where someone wrote that a scroll saw blade should last around an hour. Is that true? I'm trying to find the size of a hex wrench that I can use to adjust my set screws. Anyone know the size that would be used on the DW 788?
  5. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll see if I can find a Dewalt parts center (or ereplacement...) tomorrow. Stephen
  6. I purchased my first scroll saw today. I was heading out to buy a new DW788 but decided to check out Craigslist first. I found the DW788 20 inch saw for $325 and it looked good so I went and picked it up. I took it home and tried it out but it wouldn't cut. I noticed my bade was VERY loose. I realized their was no tension screw where the blade sits in the bottom (don't know what its called). Is there a special screw required for this or can I find one that fits and use it. I somehow doubt that, but thought I would check here first. A premature thanks,
