  1. Steve !! Nice job there... Thanks for sharing ...
  2. Excellant - first shot or not. You did a great job there..
  3. That is awesome !!! Very nice.. Thanks for sharing !!!
  4. Hi Dick.. Thank you.. So the ad was in a flyer and not online.. I see.. Perhaps that's a special discount for folks that receive their flyer only. Seems their flyer and website are a bit off from each other.. Is there some kind of "catalog code" listed anywhere that we can put in the order form to get that price ? Don't mean to be a pain but if we can save a few bucks, it'll help !! Thank you again..
  5. Looks great, Rick !! Very nice Thanks for sharing !
  6. Very clever, Marge and beautifully done !!
  7. We have a way to go, huh, Dave !!
  8. Hi Marg... Wow - my Wife said the same thing !! Color just the balloons. (great minds think alike, huh ?) Size of wood is 1/4" stock that I had. I would have liked to use a thicker piece (1/2" maybe) but unfortunately, didn't have a piece to use.. Time to order more wood...
  9. Hi Dick.. Where did you see this ? (Looks like Dave and I might be interested at that price).. I checked their site just now and they have them listed at: * Saw - 570 (amazon has it for 495) * Stand - 90 (amazon has it for 68) * Light - 40 (amazon has it for 27) Amazon price for all three: $ 590 (free shipping with Prime membership) Didn't see any special packages on Woodcraft although they are running a "Free Shipping" special on all orders over 175. If they do indeed have a special on all three for 500 (with free shipping), I just might have to bite the bullet..
  10. Dave. Same issues here with the same saw. Somewhere down the line I see a DW778 in my future but it'll have to wait. I'll make due with the Porter Cable issues for now . BTW I hate it when the piece gets hung up because the plate is not even..
  11. I put blue tape down first then put the pattern on that after spraying 3m on the back of the pattern. I wait for it to tack a bit before placing the pattern. I then cover the piece with clear packing tape. Clean and comes right off with no problem by just peeling it off.
  12. Very intricate ! Great job there Thanks for sharing !! She'll LOVE that...
  13. Interesting for sure.. I'll pass though on trying that - my hair is curly enough !! I wouldn't mind buying some of that and using it for a project though..
  14. Hi Brian.. Not sure.. I downloaded the pattern from Steve Goode's website.. The "details" of the piece doesn't list the font.. Sorry...
  15. My youngest Daughter's birthday is on the 31st so today I decided to do a little something for her. Thanks to Mr. Goode for the pattern. Cut with FD #3.. Have to finish it now.. It's a "surprise" for her and we'll make it part of her centerpiece... Loving this new hobby
