I like my EX21 and I know what you mean about the dust collector. I have a tool with a small ball point that I use to push the plastic down which will get most of the wood chips out. What is hard for me is the suction holds the wood tight and get hard to move.I have even opened the hose on the vacuum for less suction which helps. Allen

I have 2 of the Lowes clamp on lights using one on each side. I just clamped them on The top arm. They are nice and bright. some one from a different forum had them and made a bracket for his saw to mount them to. I have cut a point on a FD blade. I have done it with a side cutter. Allen -
I have the older all metal version and it works good. The hardest thing is holding the spindle lock, drill bit in and tightening the chuck. I have a t chuck that is like a drill key-less chuck. Allen

SCROLL SAW----FEEDING FROM TOP OR BOTTOM?

I have the Excalibur 21" and like the top feed because it is easier to see the hole I want to cut. It takes a little getting use to putting the blade in the bottom but you soon get the hang of it. With the bottom set screw set into the slot, I just push the blade in on the side it is on until i feel it hit the screw and then move it to the right ( setscrew on the left side) and push it all the way in and tighten wing nut screw. My EX-21 has adjustable legs but in my shop, I have the back higher because of the way the floor is. Allen
