  1. These are patterns by Diana Thompson and found in Creative Woodworks and Crafts May 2011. The magazine went bankrupt so it may be hard to find an issue,
  2. Thanks Don. I remember seeing yours wit the moss, a great addition.
  3. Or maybe ready to get a worm.
  4. Thanks Ray. The little bird on the third one must have slipped when glued and I didn't notice until it was dry. So the little bird is looking down.
  5. I know I showed these many times, but I wanted to try compound cutting on the Pegas Scroll Saw. The birdhouses are from 1 1/2" square Ash stock. Using Pegas #7 R MGT blades, the cutting went very smooth. As a distributor for Pegas, I am giving the saw a real workout.
  6. Welcome to the forum from T N
  7. I am not sure. I have the EX21 in my shop at home and the Pegas at the store. They look the same, but I haven’t tried the Pegas on the EX stand. When setting up the Pegas stand, I had a little trouble. I left off the top side braces and it fit just fine. I use the Saw for demos and classes. I did cut four Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments on it today.
  8. Welcome to the Village forum from TN
  9. Thanks Dave.
  10. Thanks Kevin.
  11. Thanks Marg. Shrink wrap helps keep the pieces in place.
  12. Thanks Dan. I like the book, but the patterns seemed to be hand drawn with wide lines.
  13. The name does it justice. A Yellowstone memory for me. What did you back it with?
  14. Roly, you sure are busy,
  15. Well, I think it looks great. I especially like the live edge.
  16. I don’t like doing multiples, but those will make great gifts.
  17. Very well done. I like the color,
  18. Very well done.
  19. Thanks Jerry. We don.t do a lot of shrink wrapping at ArtCrafters. If we need to reorder, we order from our frame supplier.
  20. Thanks Melanie.
  21. Thanks Jim. I use leftover mat board as a backer.
  22. Nice to own a framing shop that has shrink wrap equipment. A great way to display puzzles without losing pieces.
  23. Not really a bragging point, but I like them. The patterns are by Judy and Dave Peterson and found in their book "Scroll Saw Baby Animals". The Koala Cub is made from 3/3" Red Oak and the Bear Cubs from 3/4" Poplar. They were cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas MGT #5 blades. The finish is one dipping in 50% Shellac. Comments welcome.
  24. Marg, that will be special.
  25. That is one amazing project, Paul.
