  1. Thanks Roly. Those hearts were not that easy to cut.

  4. Thanks Bill. Maybe the double tea light holder this weekend.
  5. Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
  6. Thanks Ralph. The pattern is in SWWC Spring 2004 issue #14. I don't have that magazine, but I did buy the CD #2 from Fox Chapel.

  8. Thanks Steve for the nice comments.
  9. Thanks Pete. After cutting the side piece, I noticed a flaw in the wood. It is minor and adds character!
  10. Thanks Steve. I have a piece of Bloodwood, but this piece is lighter, therefore I think it is Redheart.
  11. Thanks Bob. I really like working with Walnut.
  12. Thanks for the encouragement.
  13. Thanks DW. I really like Walnut and fortunately had a piece 1 1/4" for the sides.

  16. Thanks Frank. I like Diana's process of making boxed.
  17. I like going through old magazines. In this case, the SWWC CD #2 SWWC Spring 2004 issue #14. I used solid Walnut approximately 1 3/4" x 6" x 6 1/2". I used FD UR #1 and #9 blades. The finish is spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
  18. Last week, Sheila Landry offered this pattern free on her website. I used 1/2" Redheart approximately 6" x 6 1/2". I used FD UR #3 blades and finished with spray Shellac. This was a fun project to make. Comments welcome.
  19. Welcome to the forum from TN. One thing to look at on low end saws, be sure it accepts pin less blades.
  20. Very well done on the inlay. Entry hole not noticeable.
  21. Thanks for the info, Iggy. I use the sticky back paper from Sloans at 30 cents each. This would cost 10 cents.
  22. Well done on that beautiful project. Nice clean cuts.
  23. Thanks Katie. That is why I glued one ring at a time with about 1/4" rotation.
  24. Very nice work all around.
  25. When I first looked at the unpainted one, I didn't notice the chefs hat on fire until I saw the painted one. I can see why you smiled cutting this one.
