That is why I increased the pattern by 25%, but it was still fragile. I will be more careful in sanding.

Not for gluing the rings. The rings need to be advanced 5 degrees, so I move them until exactly the right position.

Thanks Paul. When sanding the bottom ring on the mac mop, the ring blew apart in three pieces. I was able to glue them in place on the ring above.

I purchased the Bowl C-30 pattern from the Etsy site of Alex Fox. I enlarged the pattern by 25%. The wood is solid 1/4" Cherry 10 inch square. I used #68 drill bit and #1 FD UR blades. I finished with a spray coat of Shellac. The most time consuming was the glue up. glue a ring, let dry for 30 minutes, and glue another ring. While waiting for the glue to dry, I cut three Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments. Comments welcome.

I scan the pattern in Photoshop Elements and print at 165% which makes the bowl 9 1/2" in diameter.

I am planning on increasing the pattern by 65% to fit 10 inch stock. Do you make the patterns for 10" stock?
