  1. OUTSTANDING WORK!!! Absolutely beautiful. A job well done.
  2. Welcome Ed! To this awesome village of knowledge and talent...
  3. Does the balde holder have a set screw for keeping the blade centered in the holder? If it does it may have worked itself out a little from the vibration of the saw. So when you tighten the thumb screw you are actually bending the top of the blade because it is pushing the blade into the hole where the set screw is supposed to be.
  4. Thank you for trying, I do see what you mean and that would be extremly difficult to even try to cut.
  5. Hey Everyone, As I am pretty savy with Inkscape for creating word art patterns, I am not so good with it in creating Images/Portrait Patterns. I have a request for a Word Art Sign with a portrait of a Lake scene in the pattern. I got the word art part down but have NO idea how to do the portrait part of it . I would love if someone could help me out with making the portrait part of the pattern. But here is the difficult request, to make my life easier I need it to be in the Vector format to apply it to the Inkscape pattern or JPG so that I can Trace it. Please if someone is willing to give me some assistance that would be awesome. Thank You So Much in Advance, Chris
  6. If someone posts a picture of a finished piece and does not credit a pattern artist/designer, you should do everything you can to find out where the pattern can be acquired or purchased. Otherwise copyright laws are being broken. Just MHO...
  7. Cool Cut!
  8. Looks Great Nice Work!
  9. When I started out my very first blades, like many I'm sure, we're the blades you buy at the big box stores. HORRIBLE! Then I found the village and after reading I decided to get some Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse blades. Awesome! Then I was introduced to the Pegas Modified Geometry blades, WOW! And as time went on I found out that each of the blades had their ups and downs for different aspects of scroll saw work. These are the only two blades I use and have no reason the switch. Oh and I use a FD New spiral from time to time for certain fretwork pieces if needed.
  10. Managed to get Kathy Wise's Koala and Baby finished up as well. Cherry, Blue Pine, Aspen, and Ebony. Busy Weekend!
  11. Finished up this custom ordered sign today,
  12. Welcome Chuck! Look forward to seeing your work. I'm from NEPA also.
  13. Very Generous of you and your wife! Prayers for Asher and his family!
  14. This is excellent! My hats off to you and your continued generosity to this organization.
  15. WOW! Absolutely amazing!
