  1. Just wondering what wooodworking magazine subscriptions you have and if you think they are worth paying for?
  2. Hi Susan! Check out Hartville Hardware if you are ever up to traveling. Its located in Hartville ohio in stark county. Very neat place, kind of expensive but if you catch their big yearly tool sale you can find some deals. I bought a big item there not too long ago and received a personal hand written thank you note from management... great place and since you are from ohio like me i thought i would share .
  3. I used to be big into scrapbooking. I own this little machine called a cricut that cuts out paper objects. You buy cartridges of differnt themes such as disney, holidays, etc. I found that it works well for making patterns for little projects I do with my scroll saw. Have any of you seen one of these work? You should check it out.
  4. Welcome. Im new to scroll sawing and this site as well. I also have a 2 year old. Finding time to scrol, with him around has been difficult. Most of my work has been projects for him to paint!
  5. Hello, my name is Stephanie. I'm new to just about everything this site is about....scrolling, power tools, sanding and finish work... With that being said...I was given a dewalt scroll saw recently as an amazing gift to help fullfill my dream to make bird houses and other little crafts that i enjoy looking at and have always told myself "I could do that". So now I guess i have to do it . Ive been practicing with cutting out fun little objects which my 2 year old then paints, we have fun. I think im ready to step up my game and know i am going to be needing alot of advice... im excited to have found this site. Everyone sounds so helpful. My next step is finding a good sanding set up... I am interested in learning intarsia and like I said before birdhouses... I hope to learn from all of you what tools you like the best so that i can build up my space with items that i can benefit the most from without emptying my pockets!
