  1. Looks like the Hawk is doing well I presume.
  2. Very nice. I like puzzles. The veining seems difficult. What size blade do you use. Must be small as I see no starting holes.
  3. I don't remember ever seeing a covered bridge. I don't think the exist in the blue states. I have always thought of them as very charming. Yours is beautiful.
  4. An optical hallucination?
  5. Give me Colorado. Unless one is living in the mountains the weather is quite moderate. We have four seasons and I love them all.
  6. Koolest project. A friend of mine worked in a RBgun factory in Rapid City, SD for a couple of years. All done on cnc.
  7. That deal seems as good as the previous Hegner deal to me. I would jump on it. It has the front tension release which would be a winner for me.
  8. Great deal! I saw that on craigs when it was posted. I purchased a Hawk in the Springs and another Hawk in Monument. Alas, my shop is full and overflowing. I did mount an led lamp on one hawk and then removed it. There was just enough vibration to look like a soft flickering florescent. Drove me nuts. Short trip. I mounted it on a shelf next the saw. Problem solved. Enjoy that saw!

  14. Cutting is great and the finish is WOW!
  15. I just found my 6/0 Pike blades which I had forgotten about. I had never used them. Out of curiosity I miked one The blade is .0085". Conversely a sheet of 50# copy paper is .004". A human hair, at least one of mine, is .0043". Tiny blades for sure.
  16. Thank you for the reply.
  17. Very nice. Cool pattern too.
  18. That is amazing! Curious what kind of glue you used. It appeared you applied an adhesive to several pieces and then assembled them. Was it like a contact cement?
  19. The cutting is remarkable.
  20. Beautiful cutting and pattern. What is the wood and how thick is the wood?
  21. What a wonderful piece! A labor of love fore sure. You are blessed with patience.
