  1. So what kind of a stand did you have?
  2. A Hegner three legged stand can sit conveniently in a corner. I love mine! That is the only reason I sold my Hawk; to get floor space.
  3. Hi Stoney. You said in another post you liked low maintenance things. So do I. That's why I love my Hegners. I've done a lot of mechanical work in my lifetime and loved it but not any longer at age 82. If I were younger I would add a Pegas to my shop. I like the color and I would do larger fret work being it is top feeder. I would also be capable of maintaining it but no longer. I could really care less what saw people use as long as it does what they want and are happy. But what the heck do I know? Good conversation.
  4. I like that!
  5. I get instructables but if it has anything to do with exercise I would never open it! Makes me feel threatened.
  6. Welcome to the Village! Lots of friendly people here for you to meet. Alad to have you aboard!
  7. Very nice work but I especially appreciate the box and cross.
  8. I like the pattern. You did a great job cutting it!
  9. Cuter than a button. I really like it!
  10. You've spent your time well!
  11. That looks like a great way to fish. Wish I were young again. Fishing was everything!
  12. My go to is #68. I use #2 down to 2/0 blades for fret work.
  13. Sold your bass boat? OMG! Not a bass boat...
  14. Setting up before the glue dries up is always a problem for me too.
  15. Yeah, welcome to the Village. We'd love to see your work!
  16. That's stunning. I love it!
  17. Great looking cross and inlays! How thick is the cross?
  18. I've posted this before. These are just cheap strap clamps from HF. The only way they will work is to put a 1/2" block under each corner so the frame is centered on the clamp. Without the blocks the corner clamps will tilt forward and jump off the frame. Certainly not ideal but it works for me.
  19. I prefer people don't clean up what they are selling. I can get it cheaper when it does not look good. It's all a matter of understanding what you are buying. Hegners do not wear out and if they do repairing with new bushings is a snap. If I were close I would buy it in a heartbeat. Might be able to buy it for a little cheaper. Super easy to clean up.
  20. Depends on the pattern. Not knowing what the pattern is I would start with a #7 Pegas double skip reverse.
  21. I borrowed a router years ago from a friend. I had it for nearly five years when he wanted to borrow it back. The nerve of him. I had it longer than he did so it should be mine. I let him borrow his router but I want it back. The nerve of some people.
  22. Shucks, I wanted to buy a new toy. Actually I have a simple miter sled for my little Kobalt saw. Works well. Guess I'll have to think of another tool to buy. Simple but it works.
  23. Don't know from soccer but a very nice piece!
