  1. The little light box has a slot that won't accommodate anything much thicker than 1/8".
  2. That is the first one I purchased. Looking a bit further I found 4 for about $24. The acrylic cuts like a dream with #2/0 Pmg and no backer needed.
  3. I made five of these for neighborhood children. The LED boxes are 4 for $25. Pretty inexpensive.
  4. Great idea having your own craft sale. You've got a lot of nice thing to sell!
  5. I understand. Getting old, I guess I resist change. It does look nice and open. What jolted me was viewing on my phone. There used to be a little do hikey in the upper right corner of the screen, like little slash marks, that would let me select forms. It was no longer there. Frustrated me trying to move around. Perhaps just something still in progress. I spend more time on this form than I do cutting. Terrible thing, I know. I use my cell phone for everything. OK. I'll be good now and be patient. You've done such a good job. So thanks.
  6. This new look of the Village site (SORRY) leaves me cold. Why fix what is not broke. There I've said it. Let the sticks and stones begin.
  7. I'll give you an AMEN on that. Beautifully dine!
  8. I love it, just don't want to stand in front of it!
  9. When I was a kid we used to call Pontiacs "Pump Jacks." Don't know why bit I loved them. I always go to dinner on Tuesday evenings and pass a '55 Pump Jack near the restaurant. Beautiful work!
  10. Having two saws is handy. When I need to interrupt a project for some reason I just move to the second saws without disturbing the first saw.
  11. You've done a great job on that. Beautiful!
  12. Great looking projects well done!
  13. Pretty coll Don, pretty cool!
  14. Whoops, the photos did not publish.
  15. Well, they laughed at Einstein too! I love my Hegners and would not give them up. There is, however, a major problem for me. The lower blade clamp. I hate it. It is the only fault I can find on the saws. I had a leftover, homemade Hawk blade clamp so I gave it a try. It works and is so much simpler to load. I will make it shorter with a revised knob and a smaller orifice for the blade. Even without changes it works perfectly. My system for loading is a bit wild but I'll come up with a slotted fixture to hold the clamp for loading. For now the small vise works well. when the blade is tensioned the blade automatically centers itself. Threading the little Hegner holder is over. This quick and easy. It can be done blindfolded.
  16. Congratulations on doing so well!
  17. Very nice cutting!
  18. Welcome to the Village Sed. Glad to have you here!
  19. Very clever as well as interesting.
  20. Nice looking system for sure!
  21. Looks super Kevin. I especially like the bottom one. Is that your design?
  22. Yes, stable is the answer!
  23. Yes. I used the same blade and saw speed on both. Also ordered 4 more led bases. Only $25 for a 4 pak. The blade is a 2/0 Pmg.
  24. Very cool project!
  25. Pretty sweet projects! Love the lights.
