  1. Now,, those boxes are something I'd like to try. Very nice.
  2. Or a hand truck from harbour freight. And move other things around also.
  3. I know where there are 16s and 21s in los angeles but i don't know if the dealer will ship. P.m. me I'll send you his contact info. You can hash it out with him.
  4. The last time i used my old delta lathe.a few weeks ago. Just got some carbide cutters from easy tools. The starter set.Used them and some homemade ones for this. When it was done i made some bigger holders and handles for them. Designer saw it in a magazine. It ended up with a wire brushed blue top. I don't have a pic of that yet.
  5. Wow, haven't used that stuff in decades. Used to use watco but even the clear will darken wood and to my eye tends to make it look dirty. I've got some pieces i did many, many, years ago with watco but the effort it takes to get a good result is tremendous compared to laquer or poly.
  6. The general contractor had steel support brackets welded to the specs we needed and bolted them to the studs then drywalled over and around them. The shelves themselves are mostly hollow with the brackets supporting the top piece.
  7. Santa clarita! So moorpark is not too bad.got a full shop so,,, if you need some milling or ? P.M. me.
  8. An angle grinder with a thin cut off abrasive blade should do it
  9. New to the site, been making marquetry for 45 years always wanted a machine but the hegners were outrageous in price. So i just got a 16" excalibur still setting it up. .I'm a furniture maker by trade and do marquetry as a hobby, a busmans hobby i guess.i have pics on face book @ hl senen I don't know if they let you post links here, some forums are touchy. I make keepsake boxes and usually give them away to good customers and as birthday gifts but thought I'd try etsy and see how that went. Anyway my dealer is a big general tool supplier and it seems general tools is in the process of being sold. So that would a count for the lack of availability of some of the machines . That's the word from him, and if he doesn't know no one does. By for now ,bubbala.
