Did the glue make the grain stand out if so I am guessing you could prob use what we call pva (basic wood glue) might try a bit on an old scrap see what it dries like

I have not yet cut a pre 1950 record only because I have not had one I understand they are made from a completely different material and are brittle I would love to try one and keep looking for them I do have a new contact who gets donations of lots of older style records hopefully he will get some if so I will cut and let you know or if you try before me let me know please , I think it will just be a case of finding the right blade at the right speed to not smash it apart or melt it back in as you cut never know someone may read this thread and has already tried it I cannot be the only strange one to keep cutting vinyl lol

Funny you should say that i got a roll today from my sons place of work I will wrap most but leave one of each to let people play drop break etc lol

Came up with these skulls to go with the others I done the other day from Vinyl used spray can paint for the colours cut with a #3 & #5 spiral

Had some time today to carrying on trying to learn these ere puzzles I keep seeing on here so gave these ones a go will need to order some more patterns soon off iggy at this rate lol
