    I know a little late but just so you know the actual pattern for download on steves site does not have the floater I just looked the swirl does not go right round and meet so no floater the picture does show it as doing that but the pattern is fine now:)

    It stands at around 2 1/2 ft high it is only 4 inches wide the width of a pallet board and the clock insert is a 70mmThanks for the kind comment

    Done this from a pattern by janevski from the pattern library here changed one up a bit to be a little bit different with a bit of colour

    Saved some pallet wood destined for the fire and come up with this, Need to get a planer thicknesser I think so I can reduce width and save a month of sanding lol
