    I use Aleene's Tacky spray. you can find it in any craft store ,Like Micheles, or Hobby Lobby.

    I use 2/o lades all the time and I only top feed , and no problems with #70 drill.in my Excalber

    I have made several of those clocks ,and used differennt types of wood, encludeing BBirch,then stained it with pecan stain. It is wonderful prject and you will be proud of. Please post picture when done. \

    I use a airbrus to stain my fret work. gets down into the cutouts.

    I use an air bruch for spraying stain on fret work it helps to get stain into the frets.
