  1. I just replaced the tension rollers on mine last week plus the clips that hold them n and the steel pin that they ride on. Also replaced the upper and lower arm springs because they had worn flat spots on them that was allowing some side play in upper arm. Replaced connecting arm on fly wheel, one small word of advice! ! pay close attention to the washers when you remove the arm and that they go back on in order. Hegners are very simple to work on but what I like the best about them is the customer service. rdv
  2. Dave, I bought a BM20 about a year ago thinking the same thing!! (wrong) I was really disappointed, nothing like the Excalibur. to much movement in the blade holders!!!!! rdv464
  3. Mike can't remember his last name that use to sell the Flying Dutchman blades, told me one time never to use any thing like that!! Mike was pretty sharp on blades and how to use them. rdv464
  4. Many thanks to all of you who replied on the Hegner saw, it is a 22v I forgot to put that on. Everyone can see the saw on Craigslist, Toledo OH. I had the fellow send me other pictures, table appears to have some pretty good scratches on the top, hard to say how deep they may be. Seller said his mother use to do crafts but stopped about 8 to10 years ago so it has sit except for a occasional cut on some wood by him or son. I'am thinking maybe offering 625.00!!! Thanks to all of you again
  5. I'm looking at a Hegner Multimax 22, the saw is 18 yrs. old and the owner is asking 750.00. Not any extras with the saw just owners manual, 1 extra set of blade holders and that's it. I'm thinking it's a little to much, thought maybe some of the Hegner owners might have some idea, thanks
