  1. I just sent an email. I like the idea of purchasing from a small family business. Good luck
  2. https://www.woodcraftbyscott.com/collections/all
  3. On the puzzles like this I dip into a food grade mineral oil, the same stuff you put on your cutting board. These are done on 3/4 nominal poplar.
  4. I've made a few different gifts items, but this one is the cool one. A little backstory, maybe a year ago Iggy sent me a pic that he did of one these, and I said to myself " No way in hell am I EVER doing one of those". Fast forward to a month or so ago at a craft fair where I had some of Harvey's puzzles a very polite and respectful young girl asked if I had a Havanese. I told her no and I could tell she was just a little disappointed. A week or so later I received an email from her parents saying that on her list to Santa was "A Havanese puzzle like that man makes." I thought of sending them Iggy's way, but knowing what a Grinch he is, I chose to officially become one of Santa's elves. Scott, aka Iggy actually seems to be one of the good guys, but nobody tell him I said so. @Iguanadon
  5. I just spent 4 minutes filling mine out, or at least part of it. I type slow.
  6. I might have to do the Cape Cod Shark as one, just for giggles. Harvey created this for me, so his custom are nice.
  7. I've been cutting these puzzles for about a year and enjoy the fact that after an afternoon or so, I'm done and can do something else. Senior onset attention deficit. I'm still doing other projects as well, so I'm not sure if I qualify for zombie title. I've cut about 80 different patterns. What are the actual requirements to claim the title?
  8. Wow, what a display and set-up. Transporting, set-up, and tear down would be enough to exhaust me. Rest well.
  9. Must be an old picture, I spy Kitty Kitty. My wife told me about this sale and I also took advantage of the sale.
  10. The Texas A&M box early in the video, do you have a separate picture and price? I have 2 friends both alumni that might be interested. Definitely a Texas worthy spread.
  11. What's the rationale behind storage in tubes besides organization?
  12. I found a longer screw that I could use and then used wingnuts to loosen the clamp.
  13. I used those same adapters on my Wen and was quite content. Only reason I upgraded when I did was that some bushing or bearing finally crapped out and vibration made the saw impossible to work with. I figured the cost of trying to fix wasn't worth it. I got 18 months out of the Wen. Moved up to a Delta and happily making sawdust.
  14. I use my Dremel in that very same stand and it is great. I use it more than my table mount drill press.
  15. One of the first things I made. I believe it was a Steve Good pattern. Those are also good words to live by, though not really achievable.
  16. I've done both hip and knee replacements. Hope your recovery is going well. I'm sure your therapist will appreciate the thought and effort.
  17. This was my first that I completed. I have a tendency to have multiple projects going at once. Luckily I finished before my Wen developed some serious vibrations caused by a bad bearing. My new Delta should be arriving Wednesday.

    Delta 40-694

I'm upgrading to this saw from the Wen and wonder if lubricating out of the box would be beneficial? Won't be here till Wednesday, have watched the video referenced earlier in the thread and a couple of comments about being nearly dry got me wondering. Thanks in advance.
  19. First project using pinless adapter on my Wen that I got for Christmas. Needs sanding, finishing and a backing, but will make a nice addition to the mancave.
