This was the first real project on my new Hegner 22V scroll saw. I call this one "A Starry Night In Grand Rapids" The frame is Walnut with maple trim and splines, the stars are made of various natural hardwoods. The night's sky was cut and airbrushed. I wanted to establish depth, similar to the perspective in the painting, so I offset he city's silhouette. As far as the LED, I have a strip installed that allows you to choose the color, brightness, or transition between colors... the options are pretty limitless. Enjoy
