I read a review on the 788 that said the depth of cut is adjustable from 3/4” to 2”. That’s not right, right? And what could that mean? The arms only have a finite up and down movement frankly, I’m a bit perturbed with it. The forward and back movement of the blade is so much that when i hang on the back of the blade to make a sharp turn it vibrates the workpiece a lot. Does anyone else see this in their 788? Can i tweek something?

it's beautiful. What is the outside diameter of it? -
Does anyone else do something like this? I consulted the scrap bucket and came up with this. It’s mounted with magnets.

Stickland Propane's finest. great work.

I like this truck. Looks great. Question: are the wheels just sitting under it, attached to the fenders, or what?

Did you make the pattern of Matt and Festus? Id like to cut that one to display in the house

Great work. I join the applause on the framing too

Would like to hear your glue up method.

This is kind of a long thread and it might have been mentioned already but i have had great success using grit from sandpaper. I get a piece of 40 or 60 and rake it a little with a screwdriver, letting some fall on the glue. Then clamp a little so the glue starts get thin. Remove the clamp and position it by hand where you want it. Then clamp down and it will stay in alignment. I make a lot of bandsaw boxes and this really works. -

I spent my entire life in the garage, braving all the Nebraska elements. Then 2 years ago we downsized and bought a patio townhouse. Downstairs I have a room with a concrete floor and a door. I have taken up the art of dust collection since, but it sure is nice to have it the same temperature year round. Not to mention not having to roll everything back to the edges to get cars in the garage. Plus I think it is really nice to be able to walk away from something and come back later, knowing that nothing changed in my absence.

I keep coming back to look at this. I'm not a cat person, but wow, this is really really good. I think this would take me forever to complete. I am amazed.

That’s very nice. Is the center zebra wood? the movie is from 1996 and is full of stars and funny. A parody of an alien invasion movie. I don’t know anyone who has seen it that doesn’t smile when the subject comes up. My wife talks about quilting in retirement. My grandma always had quilting parties with her friends. All by hand and with a singer treadle machine. I live in Lincoln Nebraska where we have the national quilting museum. And that’s what I got to say about quilting. Heh, I feel like Forest Gump.
