    I finished one order and was hesitating on the next so I tried something else that scares me but is my own so I can screw it up without a problem. These are 13 hours into it -- unfortunately I have to start the next one so am shelving this for now -- maybe (or I could just be insane for trying this but it's working) 3/8 Baltic with a #1 modified geometry on a Pegas

    actually not really zen per se-- more hyper focus and awareness -- the world goes away and all there is is the cut and the music

    No I did all of them on the scroll saw --- I have one but I haven't had time to try it much less learn it -- the letters were all set without a jig either -- I tend to think a jig sort of makes the process less a part of me -- I love the space I get in while focused like this

    I've been cutting (and painting gluing etc) all month on this order. I think I'm done with circles for a bit -- way too many -- but I think I've got it down - wish I had paint down as well edit: sorry I should have put in what I was using I guess -- 3/8 Baltic with a #1 modified geometry -- the rest of it uses 1/8 - 1/4 - 3/8 - and 3/4 baltic 1.mp4

    This one was done for my son in law on 4/4 poplar with an unknown backing board. I used a 5/8 oak dowel for the barrel with 1/4 cedar for the sights. It's a modified (slightly) wood teddy bear pattern touched up with my Dremel. 36" from butt to end of barrel. If you guys can tell what that backer is it would help in the future - I like it. I used a #4 spiral and a #5 modified geometry on a 16" ryobi video-1565999175.mp4

    This was done over a couple months partly because I was afraid of it and partly heat (I work outside on this stuff) but It's finally finished. My brother in law belongs to this law enforcement group so I did this for his Bday. I used 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 Baltic Birch plywood - all on a 1/4 back. It is full life size based on his jacket. I used #1 modified geometry for the whole thing 20190825_174446.mp4
