Awesome. You must have devoted a lot of time to this work!

The widest part of the motorcycle is the rear boxes, and “mirrors” in the front. I can’t cut off the thickness and then stick it back. I had to very carefully reduce the thickness. Up the stairs. Rounding at the front > then the wing > then the front fork > then the brake disc > and at the end the thickness of the wheel. I can only say something about it. The thickness of the front wheel is 16mm, and 18mm of the rear wheel. I acted intuitively and when I close my eyes, I still feel these forms after a lot of time.

It was the most difficult and most interesting project. It all started with my friend’s request to make his motorcycle out of wood. When I did not find examples of the Internet, I decided to make a toy in the form of a puzzle. The material took a glued pine shield 37 mm thick. It turned out that such a blank does not fit into my scroll saw. After a little alteration of the mounts, everything worked out. At first I just wanted to cut out the fragments and round out the sharp edges a little. I spent one day, but I did not like the result, so I decided to give the puzzle more realistic shapes. I have little experience with woodcarving, so I was very afraid to spoil the model with one careless movement. All the work took about three weeks. Sometimes the work was done quickly, and on some days I just sat and looked at the individual parts and tried to imagine its future form. Of course I didn’t show my friend the whole process of work, but when he saw a photograph of the finished puzzle, he said only one phrase: “Shut up and take my money.”

I create patterns in Corel Draw and sometimes there are problems with dfx files. The sizes do not match and the coordinates change. Therefore, I always ask the client in what format to save a file for him. If pdf, then I make the sizes on a scale of 1: 1, in order to remove extra problems from the client. He can only turn on the printer and not think about the size.

Good. In the evening today I will add red lines and make them thicker. Are you satisfied with the metric system, or do you need to convert dimensions to inches?

So, napkin holder made in full size. Nothing needs to be scaled. Just print two pages of this PDF file. The thickness of the plywood should be 4mm. If you need, I can change the color of the stroke line to red. Please, if you find any errors, let me know about it. I will try to fix them. Roket.pdf

Have you ever made anything ugly on purpose?

When I bought my Jet16, I installed it in the garage, but since there is still furniture being assembled, there is no room left now. I moved into the house and took a corner in the kitchen. Everything would be fine, but when the wife starts cooking dinner, I can’t think about anything but food. Tasty smells just make me crazy. -
"Inkscape" free program. Install and be happy

Bottom line, if you want yourself a pattern with a napkin holder, then you have several options: 1. Buy Amazon pattern 2. Find free patterns on Russian forums 3. Ask for free to share a pattern (on the same Russian forums), I think none of the authors will not deny you such courtesy. If you have difficulty finding and knowing other languages other than English, then I can help in this matter as an intermediary. - Post links where to look. - Find the right and make an adapted selection. - Draw the desired pattern for you. . I think there will be no problems with blanks. All that is needed is a suitable silhouette and the very fastening of napkins. P.S. Photo author Victor Lysenko

Hello to all. Let me explain something to you about patterns in Russia. 1. On the example of napkin holders. Suppose I drew a pattern and sold it to another person. He shared a free pattern with a friend. (it's hard to call piracy) A friend sawed a napkin holder and posted a photo of the network. Another "designer" saw the photo and sketched the pattern, maybe not even for sale, but as a gift to his wife. In a couple of years, every third master will have such patterns and it will be almost impossible to find the author. Such patterns acquire the status of folk. 2. If I am the author and found a napkin holder made according to my pattern, even on sale, even if I don’t get my commission from these sales. I will not sue. First of all, I painted a pattern for my own pleasure and I feel sorry for the time for litigation. Secondly, these "pirates" greatly save me money on advertising. They simply do not realize that they are helping me. ))) 3. An example of expensive patterns. In Russia, there is a company that makes parametric furniture. A strong company, with its designers and advertising agency. Some of their patterns sell. The average price of 1000 dollars. A year later, they post their patterns on the net for free. When I was surprised to ask the founder of the company why they were doing this, the answer was received: First, the creation of each pattern over time pays off. Secondly, sooner or later, these patterns will still emerge in the network. It's unavoidable! So let it be better we ourselves will lay them out in good quality. As a manifestation of charity. It seems to me that this is quite logical and fair.

In Russia, such napkin holders are now in trend. Forums are inundated with requests to share a pattern.

If you do not find a good photo, you can simply indicate the model or type of aircraft, and then we will select the desired angle.
-
Yes, it is quite real. You just select the desired photo. By the way, Russian programmers made a video game dedicated to World War II military aviation, armored vehicles, and fleets. The game allows you to consider the technique at close range from either side. There is even a view from the cockpit. Yesterday I wrote a letter to the developers with a copyright question. They replied that using screenshots to further create patterns fits the fan-art category and does not violate the law. Here is a link to a small video.

You did a good job. I also like airplanes. In my childhood I even collected a collection of plastic models on a scale of 1:73. If you need a pattern with any airplane, just let me know.

This is an exact copy of my Jet JSS-16. This is on the left of the photo. Do not buy it if you are not ready to do an upgrade for your money.

I do not know how to grow flowers, but I can design a little. If my brain thinks well, I can make a more complex and more beautiful flower stand.
