  1. By the way, not all my work is done on the scroll saw! My Business Card shows a Williams, Oregon address but was originally made in Talent, Oregon 1985. The Dragon (on the card) was one of the first items I cut with my new Excalibur EX-19VS Scroll Saw using 1 inch Oak. Gene's Woodcraft Workshop Business Card.bmp
  2. Those are nice patterns but I did not get my idea from them, although years ago I did get patterns from them. Sometimes I enjoy making my own patterns. In the pictures below I am setting on the Running Board of my old 1930 AA 1974. The pattern and cut out I did December of last year.
  3. My shop is close to 24 x 44 foot.. Yours is a lot cleaner and neater than mine.
  4. Here was 2 more I should have added.
  5. I have always loved going to stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army where I got into the habit of buying old wooden plates. When designs are cut in them they hang flat on the wall and make great Plaques. They were easy to cut because of the raised edge you can hold onto.
  6. Here are a couple box's I have made. The first one I keep my Medicine in and the next was a Sewing Box for my Wife.
  7. Went out and took a picture of the foot pedal. You can see the cable attached that runs up to a pulley at the front and then all the way back to another pulley that routes the cable up to the top arm at the back of the arm. You can also see that I use foot on - off switch to run my saw. Also shown is the Connecting Rod that broke after 23 years of use.
  8. Sorry I don't have a good picture showing the foot pedal foot lift. It was a metal pedal mounted to the stand under the saw that had a cable attached to it that ran up through sets of pulleys and attached to the back of the upper liftable arm. When the upper blade was released you could step on the pedal and that would lift the upper arm leaving both your hands free to insert the blade into a new hole.
  9. I bought my EXcalibur EX-19SVS 10-29-1996 and paid a total of $1095.00 through SEYCO. I used it every day for several hours a day for a good number of years and here it is now June 2019 and my saw finely broke down about Jan. of this year (not bad for an "old" obsolete scroll saw. I've owned quite a few different brand scroll saws over the years and my EX-19 was the best saw I owned. If I could have bought that saw for $500.00 that was mentioned I would have jumped on it. It was the Connecting Rod Part #S162C011 that broke (after 23 years) in my saw and that part is no longer available. The price of the saw was $995.00 with stand and foot switch, $65.00 for the Pedal Arm Lift and $35.00 for shipping and handling. That was the 1996 price.
