Hi marg am in East Kilbride I had never even seen a scroll saw in person so have nothing to compare it to but so far am loving the machine, it's not a big deal using one blade I got some real blades the original is like a bike chain compared to them lol just got a new pc delivered and bought corel draw so I can actually print a pattern of to use lol

When you can produce work like this who cares about the money just knowing ur art will deff be a conversation piece for many years to come it truly is class

Kevin it was a blade that came with the record power ssv16 I bought doesn't say a size, however I got some pegas spiral blades delivered today they make the first blade I got look like a chainsaw blade lol now I know how you lot can do the fiddly bits lol

The pro's prob have this sorted but if ur new like me and are having problems with the bottom pinless clamp staying on, I now clip a clothes peg to the blade when I move to a new hole it keeps the tention on the bottom half of the blade so I can thread the blade through a new hole easily then clamp top and tighten, remove peg and saw.

One blade, no pattern I thought this was the norm lol my new pc arrives tomorrow can't wait to get going with graphics, ordered proper blades am still making daft mistakes drilling my holes then sellotape and wondering why the blade won't go through lol, to rjR this asylum rocks, dgman most of what av done av learnt watching ur vids so big cheers for that,

First week of scrolling, no pc yet so just drew on the wood, only one blade that came with the saw can't wait to get my new pc to make some patterns

Am 48 scrappile when am better with the saw and I grow up one day I hope to reach "ugly old goat" status lol

I know am very new to this and not very good yet but I looked at my profile and it says " Rank Scroller " lol thought that was a bit harsh how to make a newbie feel good about his work lol

Lol together we could write a book, "beginners guide to a quiet life" lol no matter what av done if Anne sees me looking at dog rescue centres and I say yes dear am thinking about getting u another dog all is forgiven lol only cost me £500 last year for her dog but worth every penny lol

I use the word fine way too much like she asks me how's my hair, do my thighs look big in these jeans, is my makeup OK today etc all of which I reply u look fine might explain why am in the dog house so much I should move my saw in there I be quite happy lol

Cheers Dan, she told me I can go and do beautiful carving now she has removed the saw blades lol guess am shopping for new makeup brushes lol

Finally I can give some advise back to you all, when stealing the wife's makes up brushes for cleaning the saw, don't steal the £30 contour brush it works great but wow was she mad lol

Thank you all for the comments etc, it's really down to you lot av spent last 5 weeks looking at your work, tips and tricks, before I bought the right scroll saw, I cut it out of 9mm MDF my pc crashed so I drew freehand not sure about copying the signature but it's only my other half to hang on the wall.
