    After losing my sweet dog Max 3 months ago and working at home then back in the office. We decided to get a puppy.  Her name is Zoey. She is 3 months old.  She has won our hearts.

    I made this box for a friend who has had a ruff time, things are looking better for her. I used Popular. The top and bottom has natural danish pit and the center I used purple trans tint. The inside has a soft cushion covered with fabric to match. The picture makes it look more blue, but it really is a deep purple.

    You can make pens on a big lathe. We bought our lathe at Johnson work Bench. We have a Jet Midi lathe. Have you been to the Wood Expo at Johnson Work Bench?

    My hubby made me a pen for Mothers Day. Gigi style blank, Maple, Cocabola, Chechen, and Black Veneer. What makes this even more special is he used the lathe tools that were is fathers. His father taught his wood working when he was growing up. His father passed away 33 years ago.

    Back to work in the office. Have to wear a mask.  After 8 hours my face was very red and my sinuses are hurting.  I’m glad I’m only in the office for 2 days a week and working from home the rest of the week.

      Update, now working from home everyday, a positive case of coved 19 at work so I’m not returning.  Only made it one day.

    Awesome, what a great idea. Everyone can use a pencil holder. This is beautiful. The grain in the wood makes it look like fabric.
