Another great pattern from Steve Good. This is a basket , the wood is popular, I stained the top and bottom with golden oak and the rest is black walnut.

Pattered by Steve Good. I used cherry wood. This took me a long time. My first try I broke it. I’m happy with the results and it is now on my dining room table.

I didn’t know about the shellac, I have only painted one item. I’m going to try it. I wonder do they make it not spray? It’s my asthma, aerosol is a trigger. My husband will spray for me.

Ok I will save them for when it warms up and can spray them outside.

This is sticky, maybe sap not resin. It’s all through the wood.

I have some snowman cut out of pine with lots of resin in the wood. When I paint them will the resin come back to the surface or should I just scrap them and not waste my time?
