  1. So when I am going to remove the pattern after cutting I use painters tape (or maybe shelfliner?) to make it easier to get off, but when I cut a puzzle with an image what should stay on and the cutting pattern are on the image not separate how do I do when? Maybe you always use separate cutting patterns and don’t have what problem? Many rookie questions sorry for that.
  2. As many of you am I using a spray adhesive CRC Fast Glue to stick mi patterns to the wood, when I want temporary bound I spray on the paper only when I want permanent bound I spray both paper and wood. Now to mi problem when I spray on the paper the glue absorbs in to the paper and make ugly spots of dark what shows on the front side and don’t go away when it dries ;-( I use regular copy paper and try not to overspray but it gets really ugly, so how are you doing and what spray glue and paper do you use? Sense I am only practice I don’t waste photo paper to mi puzzles and other project but will what make any difference? I also have labelpaper what is self sticking I use what sometimes when I only need temporary bound on the pattern but can that be permanent to if I coat it with clear spray varnish/laqour?
  3. So finally I have had some time to test the adapters I ordered and I am positively surprised with their function, no masterpieces but they get the job done and what is all I ask for, so now I can use pinless blade to. I also done some test with spiralblade and as some of you wrote whey take some getting used to, but I starting to get the hang of it, and for the relatively simple patterns I cut whey are good enough, and where won’t be either the saw, blades or any other hardware what will set mi limits for what I can cut, it will be mi lack of skill. But as the old saying goes “practice make perfect” so I will keep on cutting and one day in the future I might be able to cut some really nice pattern to be proud of, but until when the gear I have will do just fine. Big thanks to all for your advices and patients with mi probably stupid rookie questions, I am afraid where will probably be more of them in the future
  4. Will it be possible to make a pattern of this, if some kind person wont to help me? Also am I as always not shore what sections to cut away, I will learn some time but some things don’t fall into place easy ;-(
  5. This defiantly made mi day, thanks.
  6. Did some more testing on small details and you are right about the magnification issue it blow them up, luckily I am not so good scroller what I can cut so fine details anyway so for the simpler patterns I use it will work so the future will tell when to use it. However I released what I can use the method in two other woodworking area as a licensed sign carver when its mostly letters and bigger details and as a hobby chainsaw carver also bigger details so will work better for what.
  7. So a friend of my ho is a artiest (painter) ask me how I get my patterns on to the wood for cutting, I told him how and he looked Verde on mi and said WHY? I ask what hi meant and hi said why don’t you do as I do to get a sketch on canvas for painting by using a digital projector an let it project whatever image I want on the canvas, but you just put a piece of wood and sketch on what instead. Its sounded smart and I remembered having an old projector laying around so I gave it a go and it work really well after some adjustments with the angels to get the pattern square, but then I just draw the lines and the pattern was done and ready for cutting, no gluing paper or painters tape just pencil lines on wood to follow. I am still testing it so it’s too early to tell how well it will work in the long run, but so far it feels like a nice idea and time efficient. So anyone ho using this method or have tested it and have some tips and experiences to share?
  8. Well sense I have Zero music skills I went into starting my own business, using my pedal trike to hauling around and selling all sorts of home grown greens like tomato, salad and more to my Niebuhr’s, I have started other family business sense in other branches, but you never forget your first
  9. Me like
  10. So I was googling around and found a web shop what ships to Sweden and who had similar adapters as the one in the link above, so I took a chance and ordered a pair, the price was about 30 USD including shipping so even if it doesn’t work I can live with it. So now I looking forward to try them out and if whey work well can I use all the blades I have left from mi Hegner so double win.
  11. Need some help again I have a hard time finding pinned 5” spiralblade over here I Sweden, I have ordered some but when I get them whey were pinless ;-( So anyone who can tell me where I can find blades like what over on our side of the big pond? Sense I have no idea witch shops who is serious or not a link would be helpful. Thanks ahead
  12. Thanks for all tips I will do plenty of practice on scrapwood to get use to them.
  13. So far I have used flat blades and it work fine but I have seen many and read o lot of using spiralblade and its advantage’s so I have ordered a pack of spiral to test out. But I wonder if you experts can give mi some advice about what to do and even more important what not to do with this blades. I planning to cut some bigger piecies and mi saw are a 16” soo it seams like a good thing what I can saw in any direction whiout turning the piece around, it will mostley be puzzles and some wallart. So give mi some tips so I don’t have to make all the rookie mistakes
