  1. Who to believe... ??????????????? Marg of course Sue77 just popped right in there. Be nice if you kinda gave a hint on how you accomplished this. Oh, and welcome.... stick around , post some more.
  2. Good post Paul.
  3. Paul (Scrappile) is more my style. I like Jerry (1939)'s idea best. I'll need 10 -15 bottles. Kurt's way is well organized and so is Ike's. Kevin and Edward gently stress test blades till they are done.
  4. Super good cutting Ron. I like this one Best,
  5. I like that. Thank you for he 'reminder'. You have to be positive for positive results. "Words mean things." 'It will be a great day." -- and -- It will be a great day!
  6. I've made a bunch and most more than once but I forget them. That's why I keep making the same ones.
  7. Well, we know your inlays are great. What I see is the super great artistic work you make with inlays. Very nice.
  8. That's cool, just wheel your plants wherever you want. They are nice planters.
  9. What an idea! That is so unique. Not what I expected. Cool !!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Ike, Happy Birthday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Kris, I use a variety depending on a few factors, mostly the size of the pattern. Generally: * Large Patterns - GLAD's Press & Seal - Buy it in grocery store. You need small wall paper roller 4" (four inch) Pull off what you need, lay it on wood and roll until bubbles are out. It's quick... It's good because it is see-thru, sticks about like blue painters tape, maybe not as much. I trim the extra off with Exacto. On fret work since it is see-thru, you have to make sure it all comes off when you are done. *Medium Patterns - Blue Painters Tape ... sometimes Glad P&S * Small Patterns - Usually nothing, just use spray glue and clean it off with mineral spirits * Hot glue on stack cuts but have used double sided tape *Hot glue and tape may also peel top layer, so plan accordingly. Hey, I also use glue sticks on the little ones. Hope this helps.
  12. it is possible the green frog tape was too sticky... just maybe
  13. Do a search ... "Folsom, California Baltic Birch" "Baltic Birch Folsom, California " There has to be a supplier of BB in your area. The Big Box stores carry the best crap.
  14. Dan, I missed that cigar,,, Missed you too.......
  15. Now tell us how.....

  17. They are nice signs. Hope they know why they are crossing.
  18. Love the colors, they are nice. So, how did you cut them?
  19. Top Shelf cutting Travis. Great idea and the fret work is beautiful.
  20. Generally speaking, you don't need a drill bit for every size blade. The smallest drill bit you need is one that accomodates your smallest blade you will need. I have .68, .60, .54, ... 1/16 and standards....
  21. Wow, powerful picture. Good job cutting.
  22. Boy, did you make that wood into a beautiful box. Great job,
  23. I never thought about 'random' drilling, I usually drill a series of 20 or so. I plan where I drill. It must be the 'small ' cuts or the ' hard ' cuts first. Could never continually cut for hours, ... I can do 5 or 10 cuts and then do something with a different project...
  24. Well by golly, ain't chore wurst either. The letters all look good to me. I think the decision on the quality lies in the hands of " Jaudy Ann " I would think she will be quite pleased.
  25. Roly, That is a nice sign for your garden. I like it with the letters standing out. I think the board would be better with a tint of green. The font is so perfect.
