Thank you ,Frank,Bob and Roly- the depth was not so deep,I think the uneven surface was the cause ,great video ,yes! Someday I wish I can reach a small percentage to what speed ,acuracy and ease as he does( wishful thinking):-) It comes back to what Don Rob said Practice,practice and some more practice . Thanks Roly.

Some things I have cut recently for my friends . The wood in the best wishes plate is from the crates in which our very famous Alphonso mangoes are packed and it is Mango wood. Since I don't have a planer or the surface planing router bit or a jig ,I sort of free handed with a flute bit and hand sanded it. Applied stain and (luckily we get ) lacquer spray. Base stand is made up of scrap piece of Pine.The butterfly pattern is by Steve Good. Sorry , for the picture quality. All comments are welcome.

Inspired by Barb(Out of the Woodwork) beautiful ,artistic routed signs. Free hand routed with a V bit( not much familiar with these) used a colored felt pen , this is really a newbie sign and tons of mistakes . All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.

Wow ! Don, T4 great shops with good machinery and health and safety equipments plus the music system :-)now I dont feel like entering my small 6 feet 4 balcony converted to a room , since it is monsoon here the roof leaks.lol:-) jokes aside, I love the place. Thank you guys

Nick, all okay down here except for the chosen leaders milking our country dry:-) did you get a chance to meet the Maharishi Mahesh? must have been a expereince of a life time, no wonder you miss him :-) I am sure you know that Beatles were his disciples and stayed in India with him for a month or so. I think I have the photograph where all four are with Maharishi with the Hippie attire. I really miss the late 60's and the early 70's have some very haapy memories of that time. While surfing the net some time back came across this photograph, Nick I am sure this will bring back sweet memories. This is time travel thread by you- thank you.

Barb, all of them beautifully done would love to know little more about scroll saw use while doing a router project, I love making word art name plates and I have a router ,so any tips will be very helpful. Thanks for sharing your work
