    As others suggested, when I did this design I used 3/4" Oak. I used #3 & 4 skip tooth. I finished it with semi gloss poly. I did it for some other people who held a very special place in my life, as well as my wife. It is a beautiful design done in metal. It is a design of the Tree of Life done by Bill and Elaine Snell, BlackCat Artworks from Easley South Carolina, Elaine is the one who designed it. The first one I finished I sent to them simply thanking them. Mr. Snell made a metal base for it and gave it to his wife. I found these folks first and obtained permission to use the design. When I requested from them to post the pattern here on SSV they asked me not to, I honored their request out of simple respect, as well as law. I would be sure and give these folks the credit for the design. They have many other incredible designs done in metal-

    Congrats in the new saw. I tension mine no more than 3.5. Usually 2.5-3.0. Like Ike said you can feel by the pressure.

    Great cutting. I'm a Chevy man but I love that Ford! My father in law is restoring an old Ford pickup right now it would be interesting to try to make a pattern from it.

    I did the pattern with Gimp2 from a drawing of Luceene-k over at DeviantArt. Thanks again for allowing me to use your work for patterns. She is an incredible artist. Done in 1/4" BB with #3 skip tooth. Just a $2 frame from the dollar store. I'd like to do the whole group together but haven't found the right pattern yet.

    The bowl is from the pattern on Pinterest- The original was from Roly and I liked it so much I had to try one, I finished it from a nice piece of Oak. The signs are the first like these I finally finished. One in Cherry and one in Oak. The Mrs. would like to hang the Oak on the front of the house but I made it to big. I have to find somewhere else to hang it.
