    Another set done. Might try toning the orange cat colouring down. Mg#3 from poplar. Unicorn Spit for the colours.

    Just a quick cut yesterday and finish this morning. Stack cut 1/4 thick hardwood ply from KJP Hardwoods. Backer is some masonite. Finish is tung oil. Pattern from Steve Good. Nice to do something "just because"

    March: Will it be "In Like A Lion and Out Like A Lamb?" Or will it be "In Like a Lamb and Out Like A Lion?" Regardless, this month scroll saw challenge is about big cats. A popular genre in scroll sawing, so it's time to show them off. Or maybe King of the Jungle cats aren't your thing? Post the King of the House instead with kittens and cat projects. That's what the internet is for, right? Cat pictures? Can't wait to see what you come up with.

    I couldn't decide what to cut after leaving the hospital.i had broncidus for a week and didnt know it.

    Elizabeth Olsen delivered a few new patterns. The Cats I'm pretty happy with. I upload the pattern for that as soon as I get the illustrator files for it to convert to pdf. The Airforce design needs a little work. The text was initially too small to cut, so I tried to enlarge that part, but I still had issues cutting it. I was off on the entry holes, throwing some of the letters off. For this kind of pattern, especially at this scale, I would rather have the inverse for the letters, so I'll see if she can come up with the design in the inverse. Her original design would work well if it was expanded and cut in wood at a much larger scale. I've converted the source vector file to PDF, so in that format, you can be scaled to any size, without losing detail.
