  1. Two for the show on Sunday. Steve Good pattern. Cut from 1/4" & 1/8" ply with a #5 Precision Skip blade. Acrylic craft paints on Santa coated with Varathane (sp?). Numbers stained with a Minwax stain.
  2. @Travis I want to thank you for your work on these patterns. Easy to cut and went together flawlessly. I cut 12 each as original size then I increased the pattern to make these a wall hanger. I stacked an extra layer on the top of Santa to hide the hole for hanging. With all the small parts it was a couple of family fun paint days. The Santa was easy to assemble as all the parts lined up perfect with the outside cuts in the face. I placed a short line on the face from two points on the pattern which lined the tip on the nose. To keep with the snowman pattern and to speed assembly I saved some scrap parts from the cut outs to make these glue jigs. The back lines up with the notch in the snowmen's neck and the top lines up all the other parts. Add a little glue, set the part in the jig and the first is the same as the last. Again, Thanks for your work.
  3. Haven't posted in a while and my saw has been collecting dust. I've been in the shop but just not scrolling, recently retired and now I have an extra 40 hrs. a week of "me time". My Wife does crochet work, dolls, animals and is doing a show in December so the me time just became "her time". Its a Christmas show so now I'm involved. Just like riding a bike, broke a few blades but I'm back in the seat. Patterns are Spielman & Reidle Candy Cane by Travis. Thanks for looking
  4. Did this Santa on 1/4" bb ply glued to 3/8" mahogany ply with a cherry frame. Not sure of the author, please post if you know. The bell is Volker Arnold done on 3/16" oak glued to mahogany. Cut the inside of the pattern and then glued the backer & finished the inside of the ribbon & then the outside of the pattern. Thanks for looking.
