About This File

Ornaments For Charity is a project from the members of Scroll Saw Village. For the last 13 years, our designers have donated their talents by creating wonderful ornament patterns for the Holiday Season. It has become so popular, and so big, we had to split it into 2 books! Book 1 covers our first 10 years; 2010-2021.  Our newest book, Book 2, covers 2021-2023.  Between the two books, we have 171 pages with 525 Holiday ornament patterns!  So be sure to download both books!

This popular eBook was featured in the Holiday 2014 issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts (read the article here).

Is it really free?

Here's how it works.  Download the eBook and take a look at what we have to offer. If you decide to keep it, all we ask is that you donate to your favorite charity.  You get a ton of great ornament patterns, and you help those in need in return.   Remember, this isn't about "buying" an eBook of patterns, it's about giving to a worthy cause. If you don't have a favorite charity, we have listed a number of national (and international) charities below that could use your help. Remember, the purpose is to raise money for those in need. So, please dig deep when donating.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children (2.5 years to 18 years old) who have life-threatening medical conditions.  It is a wonderful charity that brings a few moments of joy.

Awesome book! My husband and I are beginners with the scroll saw, and this book will give us lots of practice with different techniques. Can't wait to get started! Thank you to all who participated in putting this together!

These are great patterns! Thanks to all the designers. I’ll be donating to the Breast Cancer to help find a cure as my daughter is fighting this terrible disease.

These are simply awesome.  I got out of scrolling a few years ago.  I am getting back into it and this is just the ticket to get me motivated.

Thank you

Moving this year. I am planning on cutting patterns over the year and see about giving back to a homeless org and / or woman's shelter in the Kansas City MO area. Beautiful collection of patterns. RJF

Thank you so much for this.   I used the ornaments from other editions to make and donate 100 ornaments to the local Breast Cancer organizations to use in their gift bags.   This is a wonderful Idea and I hope others use the patterns to make a difference for people.

I am the president of the Carolina Scrollers of Winston Salem NC. (www.carolinascrollers.com) Our club’s community service focus has been scrolling ornaments in which 100% of the sales is donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of NC. We kick our annual season off at the annual Klingspor Woodworkers show in Hickory NC. This year we donated $2,213 from this two day show. We will be selling ornaments at the Klingspor shop in Winston Salem from Nov. 29 through Jan 2. We are continually looking for new and different patterns as we have many return customers. Your patterns will be very helpful.

Lovely patterns. I'm a volunteer with Veterans in Communities in England. I make these to help raise funds for the charity. I do have to slightly alter some as I hand fret saw and some of the detail is too fine, but keep the patterns coming
