Fay Prozora Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Cut this out on my big yella fella and it turned out pretty good. I wood burned the little flower on the front also. The pattern is one from an old broken up one that I found and I cut this one out from the same idea... It'll be great in my shop or my sewing room in my apartment in Port Angeles, Enjoy Fay oldhudson and lawson56 2 Quote

amazingkevin Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 It's great to be able to know where to find things when you need them. Wonder why one success is called a pair of scissors. Very comfy hold you designed. Quote
frankorona Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Great work very useful and practical, thanks for sharing. Quote
Kepy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 These are great. I have made hundreds of them. I prefer 1/8" for the front. Used to decorate them with small wooden spools cut in half with fabric glued around them. Also used to letter them with "Sew Special". Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Fay looking good that one, you could make different sizes for different lengths of scissors with different pattern on the front, love it. Roly Quote
Sparkey Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 I have never seen wooden scissors. Very nice Fay. They look great for holding scissors and being able to keep from losing them. Quote
oldhudson Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 That's cool. Do you have ideas for other fiber related project, a scrolled ______ to hold crochet hooks or knitting needles? Quote
Fay Prozora Posted June 5, 2014 Author Report Posted June 5, 2014 Sure,, one can make a doodad like a spoon holder for those little suvenier spoons that you can buy in different states. some thing like that would work. Or make a little box with compartments for hooks and sections for sewing needles. Fay Quote
