new bottle stopper

This is my newest bottle stopper. It's made from maple with a carpenter bee encased in resin on top. I won't have to worry about this one boring into my shop again.

I love the bee idea.  I've got a bunch of pests around my place that I'd like to encase in resin, too.  But I guess that squirrel would make a mighty big bottle stopper.

Hi Clayton, I take it the "CARPENTER BEE" made the bottle stopper. Only joking. Beautiful job and very unusual. Drink enough wine and the bee will appear to be flying       .
